This place was ridiculously good all around. The food, the service, and the ambiance were all delightful. I had some of the best gnocchi I've ever had while drinking "the acrobat" signature drink made with rum, (maybe mango puree), grenadine, and seltzer water. It was amazing all around. We also split a salad and the gazpacho, and both were delicious. We called multiple times worried about bringing my small baby, and the person answering the phone, who I think was the hostess and server as well, was super kind and thoughtful. Overall, this place was pretty perfect and I highly recommend.

Came here last night for dinner with my husband and it was fantastic! The menu has a lot to offer and you can either do tapas or a full meal. Many different selections with great portion size. I also loved how they have mocktails and non alcoholic drinks for people who can't drink - and they aren't boring selections! The decor is absolutely LOVELY and feels fresh and comfortable. Our server was also very good and we had a delightful meal. I would definitely come back here and the only thing I missed was the dessert menu but will check it out next time. Everything looked good! A+

This was a very yummy brunch was relatively fast service, a small but nice space, and great food! I got the spaghetti French onion, which could be skipped IMO. My friends got the croque monsieur & pancakes and reported GREAT things. I give it four stars because we unfortunately had a bad experience with our server. When we asked questions about the food before ordering, she gave pretty rude responses. Ex. I asked "is the spaghetti French onion too much?" And she responded "too much what?" I feel like that's a pretty sane question for such a menu item, but lmk. She also didn't approach the table after the food arrived and we had to stop her after about 40 mins of a cleared table to ask for our check. Worth going to for a last minute brunch, just wish we had a better server experience.

We were here for a friend's birthday dinner. Now I normally wouldn't choose a French restaurant as a vegetarian, but looking at the menu in advance showed that they had several options. It turned out to be a lovely experience. The service was great and it had a cozy ambiance inside. They have a decently sized bathroom here too, which is always appreciated in a sea of smaller restaurant bathrooms. The food was good! I really enjoyed their brussels sprouts, which were different than the typical crispy brussels. These were soft, melt in your mouth - I thought it might be because of butter but they don't list that as an ingredient, so who knows. The zucchini pancakes were good, though not remarkable. I had the roasted ratatouille as my main, and I appreciated that they were able to sub other veggies for the eggplant (I'm not a fan). My friends enjoyed their food as well. The drinks were fine. They definitely look fancier on their site photos than in actuality, so that was a mild disappointment. We came here on a friend's recommendation and I'm glad it panned out overall. I definitely need to explore this area of Brooklyn more!

The food is delicious. The service is great. The space is beautiful, including the bar. They have brunch specials.

I had a reservation on a weekend afternoon and i'm glad I made one. There was only two two person tables left and one got filled shortly after I sat down for my reservation. I got the buttermilk pancakes which looked so beautiful on their menu. The crème anglaise sauce (the white sauce you see under the pancakes) seemed like a lot more in the picture than there actually was so that was a tiny bit disappointing. I wish there was more of that because that seemed to distinguish it from other pancakes, especially the famous Cafe Luluc pancakes across the street. Nonetheless, the pancakes were still pretty good. You can really taste the buttermilk so there's that flavor even when you run out of fruit/whip for some bites of your pancakes. The pancakes were not overpriced despite being in this gentrified neighborhood. I really want to try the french onion spaghetti next time, so you can expect me to come here again! The boozy brunch deal seemed to be a scam because the pitcher was so skinny and 2 Entrees are only $30ish

Levant is a far nicer restaurant than I had initially thought. This is a quality French dining experience, with the outstanding service to match. Of course, I came in for happy hour, with small children, wearing shorts (it was unseasonably hot), which instantly places me in the category of gauche. But our actually French, impeccably dressed waiter pretended as though I was a person to be respected, which I truly appreciate. Levant is actually too nice to call it happy hour. Here, it's "Sunset Hour." It lasts from 3-6 pm, and it involves a number of drink specials, and a pretty extensive menu of discounted small bites as well. There's also a Magic Sunset Deal for 2, that's a pitcher of cocktails or a bottle of wine, and two of the Petites Bouchées (small bites). Which is a damn good deal in this part of Brooklyn, for quality food. I was trying not to drink (first time for everything), but I can report that their non-alcoholic cocktails are delightful, especially the Carroll Gardens. We shared a lot of plates, including the onion soup gratinée (exactly what you want), the brussels sprouts (very tasty), the mussels (perfect, with bread to dip), the zucchini pancakes, the chicken croquettes (loved them), and the Levant salad (with a large bar of roquefort dropped on top). The presentation, quality, and deliciousness across the board surprised me, pleasantly. My kids weren't into much of it, but luckily they also have excellent fries. And truly, the service was wonderful. Not only did they bring us an outstanding amuse bouche ,but this poor man was bringing out soup spoons and mussel forks for all four of us, including the two little monsters who I would never share my mussels with. All in all, a place I'm glad I sat on a whim at with my kids, but one I'd truly love to return to without them.

This has become my favorite happy hour spot! I love that they have a variety of drinks - wine, beer, cocktails and non alc drinks that are themed to the neighborhood. The inside is very cute and has plenty of seating but that also have a large outdoor space. I think it's good for large parties or just a pair! I've enjoyed everything I've had there, the happy hour food is more small shareable plates, I'm looking forward to going back and getting dinner! Not pictured but love their summer spritz

Made a reservations the morning of mothers day for dinner. We were seated right away when we got there. I had a couple of acrobat cocktails which were very refreshing and light on a warm day. We started off with French onion soup, cauliflower gratin, Brussels sprouts, shrimp flambé, escargot, and scallops. I got the sea bass as my entree. We asked for the food to come out altogether. The French onion soup was very rich, not too salty, I enjoyed the soup a lot. The escargot was decent, a lot of garlic butter. The shrimp flambé tasted fresh. The sea bass was good, presented differently than the photograph on their site but I enjoyed it. I was a big fan of the cauliflower gratin, but can definitely pass on the Brussels sprouts. The Brussels spouts were big but had a bitter flavor to it. I also had a bite of the beef bourguignon which was very tender. We had a very good experience here and would definitely recommend it to others.
